What is psychodynamic psychotherapy?

Carron Consulting use a psychodynamic approach with individuals, couples, groups and organisations to help understand what may be occurring at an unconscious level.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy relies on the interpersonal relationship between the client and the therapist and focuses on the unconscious content of a clients past experiences to determine current behaviour.

A psychodynamic approach is also helpful in work with groups and organisations to help make sense of what may be occurring in times of stress or organisational change.

Eileen MacAlister of Carron Consulting is a UKCP Council for Psychotherapy registered Training Group Analyst (IGA), psychotherapist, skilled facilitator and consultant with a Masters Degree in Business Consulting.
